If you are interested, please write to the Clerk indicating your reasons for wishing to join the Council and include a short CV to highlight the particular skills, you will bring to the role.
Please be advised this role includes attendance at a monthly meeting and you will be asked to occasionally devote time to help tackle local Parish issues and events.
The closing date for applications will be Friday 23rd February 2024 and candidates will be asked to attend the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 5th March 2024.
The Parish Council is the first tier of Local Government representing the local community, delivering services to meet local needs wherever possible,
To qualify a person must be a
- British subject,
- Over 18 years old and an elector.
- Must reside within the parish or within three miles of it or occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises therein or have their principal or only place of work there
- Must not be disqualified from holding office as a Councillor.
