Defibrillator Sites - Pevensey Parish Council

Following a number of fundraising efforts and donations, Pevensey Parish Council is pleased to provide details of a number of Defibrillators which are available for use across the Parish. They will be maintained and serviced as required regularly, depending on their locations, by St Wilfrid’s Church, St Nicolas Church, the Sports Club, the Aqua Bar, Pevensey Town Trust, Pevensey Memorial Management Committee and the Parish Council.

They are very easy to use in the unfortunate occasion when one might be needed. Phoning 999 is obviously the first thing to do, but if a defibrillator is to be used, on starting it, it will automatically speak the necessary instructions. No one should fear using one in an emergency as it can only but help in such circumstances.

In Pevensey Parish, defibrillators are available on outside walls at:

  • St Wilfrid’s Church, Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay
  • The Aqua Bar, Sea Road on the Beach
  • The Information Centre, Sea Road car park, Pevensey Bay
  • Ethel Wood Community Centre, 129 Coast Road, Pevensey Bay
  • The Pavilion, Wallsend Road Sports and Recreation Ground
  • Public Toilets, Market Square, Pevensey
  • The Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Pevensey

There is also one at St Nicolas Church, Pevensey, which is stored on the South West corner of the Church.

If one is used, it will be helpful to inform the Parish Clerk on 01323 743900 to ensure that any required materials are replaced. Please contact the Clerk if you have any concerns about the Defibrillators in place and let her know if any new ones are installed elsewhere
