Please join the National Moment of Reflection
on the eve of the funeral
of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
It will be held outside the East Gate of Pevensey Castle by the memorial to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visit to Pevensey in 1966 starting at 19:50.
Those attending will be welcomed by Peter Lowton Chairman of Pevensey Parish Council and the Moment of Reflection will be led by Father James Vine with a one minute silence at 20:00 and the singing of the National Anthem.

Pevensey Parish Council encompasses the village of Pevensey and Pevensey Bay.
The Council is the first tier of local government for Pevensey comprising of 13 Councillors who are elected or co-opted for up to four years.
The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council.
The Parish Council has statutory duties and powers to provide services for the Parish. It provides allotments, a community building, dog and litter bins, community facilities including recreational areas and boat berths. The Council owns public open space within the village on behalf of the community.
