Grass Cutting for Urbans - Pevensey Parish Council
This year Pevensey Parish Council has paid for four additional cuts to be carried on the urban grass verges, which will be completed by ESCC totalling six cuts (two standard and four extra) over the course of the year.

Rural grass verges still remain the responsibility of ESCC and they timetable can be found on their website.

Pevensey Parish Council encompasses the village of Pevensey and Pevensey Bay.
The Council is the first tier of local government for Pevensey comprising of 13 Councillors who are elected or co-opted for up to four years.
The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council.
The Parish Council has statutory duties and powers to provide services for the Parish. It provides allotments, a community building, dog and litter bins, community facilities including recreational areas and boat berths. The Council owns public open space within the village on behalf of the community.
