This years litter picks have been very successful and the Parish Council would like to thank all the volunteers for their time and effort they have put in to help keep Pevensey free from litter.

New dates have been arranged for the litter Picks for 2022/2023

The first litter pick event will be held on Saturday 2nd April at Sea Road Car Park

The Second litter pick event will be held on Sunday 26th June at Wallsend Road.

The third and fourth date is yet to be agreed.

Your Council

Pevensey Parish Council encompasses the village of Pevensey and Pevensey Bay.
The Council is the first tier of local government for Pevensey comprising of 13 Councillors who are elected or co-opted for up to four years.

The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council.

The Parish Council has statutory duties and powers to provide services for the Parish. It provides allotments, a community building, dog and litter bins, community facilities including recreational areas and boat berths. The Council owns public open space within the village on behalf of the community.

This website contains information about Pevensey, updates about what the Council are doing and responsible for and contact details for all Councillors and the Parish Clerk. .
