Next planned litter pick – Saturday 9th November 2024 – Beachlands

Pevensey Parish Council is organising its next little pick. It will be held on the 9th November 2024 at 9am in around Beachlands and Coast Road areas.

All equipment will be provided including equipment for children.

Areas to be covered will be Beachlands and Coast Road, Pevensey Bay.

The council wants to encourages volunteers, residents, children and families to collect bags of rubbish from open spaces and disposing of them correctly.

Your Council

Pevensey Parish Council encompasses the village of Pevensey and Pevensey Bay.
The Council is the first tier of local government for Pevensey comprising of 13 Councillors who are elected or co-opted for up to four years.

The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council.

The Parish Council has statutory duties and powers to provide services for the Parish. It provides allotments, a community building, dog and litter bins, community facilities including recreational areas and boat berths. The Council owns public open space within the village on behalf of the community.
