Wealden District Council have advised us of the planned programme of works for the Sea Road car park and the refurbishment of the toilet block.
The outline programme is subject to any serious weather issues is as follows:
Car park refurbishment
Start Date – 4th January 2024
Approximate Duration -10 Weeks
Approximate Completion Date – 15th March 2024
During these works:
– The car park will be closed to all vehicles
– The Toilet facility will be available for pedestrian use
– The changing places facility will be closed due to no vehicular access
Toilet Block refurbishment
Proposed Start Date – 1st February 2024
Approximate Duration – 6 Weeks
Approximate Completion Date – 15th March 2024
During these works:
– The car park will be closed to all vehicles
– The Toilet facility will be closed to facilitate the refurbishment works, we will send out information nearer the time on that closure and put up notices for the public.
– The changing places facility will be closed due to no vehicular access
If there are any chances to the above works then updates will be provided.
