We’re pleased to confirm that the 2026/27 Community Grant window is now open. Local community groups, charities and voluntary organisations are invited to apply for funding to support projects that benefit residents across Pevensey.

Your Council

Pevensey Parish Council encompasses the village of Pevensey and Pevensey Bay.
The Council is the first tier of local government for Pevensey comprising of 13 Councillors who are elected or co-opted for up to four years.

The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council.

The Parish Council has statutory duties and powers to provide services for the Parish. It provides allotments, a community building, dog and litter bins, community facilities including recreational areas and boat berths. The Council owns public open space within the village on behalf of the community.
