DESCRIPTION:Sign up now to part of the Pevensey Castle 5K Run \nPevensey Parish Council has organised a new and exciting event which is a fun run around the scenic and historic Anderida Park\, in the shadow of Pevensey Castle. \nThis event is designed to offer a late Summer\, friendly event around the village of Pevensey. Joining the start line on Pevensey Recreation Ground\, the route will wind round Anderida Park with the Castle always in view. \nThe route sees two laps of the Pevensey Castle outer Bailey via a public footpath\, before heading down Church Lane\, passing the historic St Nicolas Church\, before heading back into the Recreation Ground. The event is predicated on 2 laps of the whole route. \nThe event offers close proximity to Pevensey Castle where William the Conqueror landed in 1066 prior to the Battle of Hastings. \nIn view of the route is both the historic Mint House and the Gaol. The Royal Oak and Castle Public House is on the route and The Smugglers close by. The Castle Cottage Tea Rooms looks over the route. DESCRIPTION:Plans are already underway with this years dog show\, which will be held on the 26th June 2022 at Wallsend Road. \nPevensey Dog Show 2022\, is organised by Pevensey Parish Council and is designed to educate and entertain. It demonstrates high standards of animal welfare and behaviour in a fun afternoon in the beautiful village of Pevensey. The show takes place between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Pevensey Recreation Ground\, Wallsend Road\, Pevensey Bay\, East Sussex on Sunday 26 June 2022. \nWe are looking for exhibitors who may wish to join in the event and promote their canine related goods. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Vehicles of Yesteryear meet which will be held on Saturday 2nd April 2022 at the Sea Road Car Park\, Pevensey Bay. \nThe event is sponsored by masonbryant\, a local Estate Agent\, but is one of the events overseen by Pevensey Parish Council. \nIt is important that you note the change of email address and only use: \nPevenseyVintageVehicles@gmail.com \nIf you have already been in touch on the previous email address about this year\, then you need to respond again to this one\, as the old account cannot be accessed. \nMike Pursglove and Geoff Bryant who have organised the event in previous years will be providing all the advice needed and will be present on the day. Please do not contact them directly. \nThe car park is available from 8.30 a.m. and we would ask that all vehicles are in place by 9.45 a.m. The event starts at 10am and ends between 3.00-4.00 pm. \nCommunication can only be undertaken by email and no forms are being sent out by post. \nPlease note there will be no stallholders this year. The Information Centre and toilets will be open and hot food and drinks are available locally. The Library will also be open and the Gardeners Club have their Spring Show in the Baptist Church. \nThere will be no access to entrants without an entry number clearly displayed! \n  \n \n  \n  \n
